Cyberspace has opened up a new field for the dissemination of Wushu culture. However, while it promotes the exchange and dissemination of Wushu culture, it also leads to negative problems such as pseudo-master phenomenon and stigmatization, which have a serious impact on the network dissemination ecology of Wushu culture. In this study, literature research and online field investigation are used to systematically investigate the dilemma and challenges of Wushu culture communication in cyberspace, and to propose a multi-dimensional governance paths. It is found that the current Wushu communication in cyberspace is facing three dilemmas, namely, the polluted network image of the martial arts, the uncontrolled network public opinions of the martial arts, and the deviated network culture of the martial arts. The deep-seated challenges mainly stem from the following aspects: the decentralization of power in the construction of Wushu cyberspace leads to the loss of control of public opinions in Wushu cultural cyberspace; the alienation of mainstream interest distorts the habitus of the audience in Wushu culture cyberspace; the anonymous communication on the Internet leads to the symbolic violence of Wushu culture cyberspace, and the trans-temporal and trans-spatial nature of information results in the lag in the supervision of the Wushu cuture cyberspace. Based on this, this paper puts forward a governance framework from three dimensions: digital technology, public network and management system, aiming at building a healthy communication ecology of Wushu culture cyberspace and promoting the digital inheritance and sustainable development of traditional Wushu culture.

Physical Education and Health course has been the focus of attention in recent years. The Eighth National Survey on Student Physical Fitness and Health reported that students still have problems such as high myopia rates and rising rates of overweight and obesity. Physical education class is a main frontier for students and its impact on self-rated health has not been fully studied. Based on the survey data on children’s sports activity participation and sports needs in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, a sequential logistic model was used to explore the impact of physical education classes on primary and secondary school students’self-evaluated health and analyzes the regulatory mechanism of sports awareness through interaction terms. Based on the survey data of children’s participation in sports activities and sports needs in the Beijing Tianjin Hebei region, this study uses a sequential logistic model to explore the impact of physical education classes on self-rated health of primary and secondary school students, and analyzes the regulatory mechanism of sports awareness through interaction terms. The study found that: the number of physical education classes per week, the attitude of participating in physical education classes, and the tendency to practice independently after physical education classes have significant positive impacts on the increasing self-evaluated health; sports identity also has a significant positive impact on self-rated health, and alleviates the attitude of participating in physical education classes, “crowding” or “not attending”physical education classes, and the widening effect of circumstances on self-rated health disparities. In the future, we can improve the self-evaluated health of primary and secondary school students and enhance the talent support for building sports power by increasing the number of physical education classes, promoting students’tendency to practice independently after physical education classes, improving the quality of physical education teaching, and cultivating sports interest and identity.

Using a scoping review within the behavioral epidemiology framework and employing deductive content analysis, this study categorizes and summarizes physical activity in elderly individuals with mild cognitive impairment (MCI) to comprehensively grasp research progress in the relevant field. A scoping review of 59 targeted articles reveals that although few studies have determined the dose-response relationship of physical activity for elderly individuals with MCI, there is sufficient evidence to indicate that moderate-to-vigorous physical activity can improve both physical and mental health. Additionally, traditional sports activities in China have shown promising intervention effects. The use of wearable devices and sensor technology can promote physical activity behavior, and provide objective, convenient, effective, and diverse data analysis results for measuring physical activity in elderly individuals with MCI. Through in-depth analysis of the common characteristics of physical activity, early neurodegenerative diseases can be screened. Intrinsic motivation, influenced by individual, behavioraland environmental factors, is key for elderly individuals with MCI to engage in physical activity, with family support being crucial for sustained participation.Furthermore, exploring the influencing factors of physical activity based on theoretical frameworks can make the enhancement of physical activity levels and the formulation of intervention programs more persuasive. Interventions that are designed, implemented, and evaluated based on family environment, supported by social backing, and guided by theoretical frameworks can more scientifically alter the physical activity behavior of elderly individuals with MCI.

The logic of the construction of a leading country in sports has important theoretical and practical values for understanding and building a leading country in sports. The study holds that Chinese modernization is the road confidence and road consciousness of building a leading country in sports. The construction of a leading country in sports is the historical inevitable choice of sports development led by the Communist Party of China, hidden in the “sports serving the country, sports rejuvenating the country and sports making the country powerful” of Chinese sports development. The theoretical logic of the construction of China’s modern sports power is to implement the new development concept; the practical logic is to meet the growing demand for sports among the general public in our country; the economic logic is to realize high-quality development of the sports industry; the cultural logic is to Integrate into the sports culture of the Chinese nation ; the technological logic is to provide new impetus for the construction of a sports power. It is necessary to systematically and dialectically understand and grasp the logic of the “Five in One”, and coordinate the promotion in order to build a leading country in sports.

The research holds that the independent knowledge system of Chinese sports training is formed on the basis of learning from foreign advanced training theories and taking root in Chinese sports training practice, which has the characteristics of localization, innovation, systematization and practicality. The independent knowledge system of Chinese sports training science has experienced four evolution stages: initial exploration, independent innovation, systematic improvement and digital transformation. There are practical problems such as research paradigm valuing“qualitative” over“quantitative”, knowledge generation valuing “grafting” over“endogenous”, and theoretical application valuing “abstract” over “practical”. The research puts forward: 1) Based on the development frontier of sports training science in the world and the practical needs of China’s sports training field, adhering to Marxist theory as the guidance, planning the top-level design of the construction of independent knowledge system of Chinese sports training science with systematic thinking; 2) Build an academic community of sports training research to strengthen the organizational guarantee for the construction of independent knowledge system of Chinese sports training; 3) Improve the independent innovation ability of research subjects in the field of sports training, and the methods and ways of enabling the construction of independent knowledge system of Chinese sports training science by science and technology; 4) Promote the cross-disciplinary integration of“sports training +”and consolidate the talent base for the construction of China’s independent knowledge system of sports training.

Textbook Illustrations are the second language that complements the textual content, and it is an important medium to realize the same direction of subject teaching and ideological and political education. From the point of view of curriculum-based ideological and political education, the illustrations in the student book for junior high school Physical Education and Health courses serve as effective vehicles for shaping junior high school students’ values, facilitating the acquisition of motor skills, expressing promoting sportsmanship, and fostering healthy lifestyles. However, the current illustration design of the student books for the junior high school Physical Education and Health course has the problems of inaccurate grasp of students’ physical and mental characteristics, rigid integration of ideological and political elements, limited exploration of excellent traditional Chinese sports culture, and the lack of interactive experience design, which is attributed to the fact that the illustration design concepts need to be updated, the illustration creation mechanism is inadequate, the necessary resources invested in illustration creation are insufficient, and the degree of application of digital illustration technology is relatively low. Accordingly, the following improvement paths are proposed: 1) to further promote the effective combination and optimization of textbook illustrations; 2) to construct scientific and reasonable evaluation standards for textbook illustrations; 3) to promote the use of digital illustration technology; 4) to form a multi-party textbook illustration creation team; and 5) to build and use a resource-sharing platform for textbook illustrations.

Gender equality is a key measure of social progress and an important goal for human beings to achieve sustainable development. With the implementation of“Transforming Our World - 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development”, the value of sport for the sustainable development of gender equality has been emphasized, and it has triggered a worldwide change in the concept of sport. Using the literature research method to explore the relationship between sport and the sustainable development of gender equality, we analyze the evolution of the United Nations’consensus on the promotion of sport for the sustainable development of gender equality and the impact it has had in the international community. The expected effects of the UN consensus on sport for the sustainable development of gender equality are summarized in three aspects: improving the physical fitness level of gender-disadvantaged people, promoting the popularization of the concept of gender equality in school physical education, and empowering women’s development. The analysis concludes that the implications for China are: 1) to emphasize the functional value of sport in promoting the sustainable development of gender equality; 2) to establish a basic guideline for the sustainable development of gender equality through sport; 3) to improve the legal system for the sustainable development of gender equality through sport; 4) to further create a cultural atmosphere for the promotion of gender equality through sport.

Using the 2020 microdata from the China Family Tracking Survey (CFPS), we empirically analyze the impact of digital literacy on the participation of middle-aged and elderly people in physical exercise and its mechanism at the household level. It is found that the improvement of digital literacy can promote the participation of middle-aged and elderly people in physical exercise, and the conclusion still holds after conducting robustness tests and addressing endogeneity issues by replacing the estimation method and replacing the core explanatory variables. Heterogeneity analysis shows that digital literacy has different degrees of significant effects on middle-aged and elderly people's participation in physical exercise, as follows: more obvious in the eastern region than in the central and western regions, more obvious in the middle-aged group than in the elderly group, more obvious in males than in females, and more obvious among those with a secondary school education than among those with a elementary school education or below and those with a university education or above. The mechanism test found that digital literacy can promote family income and subjective well-being indirectly influence middle-aged and elderly people's participation in physical exercise. Accordingly, the following recommendations are made: strengthening education and training on digital literacy for residents to encourage middle-aged and elderly people to actively participate; creating an age-friendly digital ecosystem to optimize digital sports resources and services; improving digital sports infrastructure; and organizing and carrying out digital sports activities.

The scientific setting and standardized application of morality clauses in the field of professional sports provide institutional guarantees for promoting the healthy development of professional sports. By using literature research and comparative analysis methods, the evolution and existing problems of the application of morality clauses in professional sports outside the territory were systematically sorted out. After analysis, it is believed that extraterritorial countries such as the United States, United Kingdom, and Germany have introduced morality clauses to effectively exercise their functions of behavioral regulation, risk allocation, and damage remediation, thereby preventing and regulating athletes'moral anomie behavior. However, with the expanding application scope of morality clauses, their implementing parties have become increasingly diversified, regulatory content continues to broaden, and clauses formulations grow progressively ambiguous. While achieving notable results, these developments have concurrently revealed systemic issues including disproportionate sanctions, ambiguous definitions of immorality and inadequate information protection. Based on this, it is suggested that China should play the role of different entities in promoting and supervising the application of morality clauses, clarify the behavioral boundaries regulated by morality clauses, refine sanction standards, while concurrently introducing reverse-morals clauses and clawback provisions. These multidimensional approach aims to achieve an equitable balance between maintaining sporting ethics and protecting athletes'rights.

Objective:To explore the influence of exercise intensities and different task difficulties on the image recognition and decision-making of orienteering athletes with different levels. Method: Adopting 2 (exercise level: expert, novice) ×2 (exercise intensities:resting-state,high intensity) ×2 (exercise difficulties:simple map, complex map). In the three-factor mixed experimental design, near-infrared functional imaging (fNIRS) was used to measure the concentration of Oxy-Hb in prefrontal cortex (PFC) of oriented-athletes during the mapping decision task. Results: 1) The accuracy of image recognition decision decreased significantly with the increase of task difficulty and exercise intensity; the expert group was significantly higher than the novice group, and the resting-state group was significantly higher than the high-intensity group. 2) Oxy-Hb activation in left dorsolateral prefrontal lobe (L-DLPFC) and left ventrolateral prefrontal lobe (L-VLPFC) showed group differences, and the expert group was significantly lower than the novice group. With the exceptionof the left frontal polar region (L-FOA), Oxy-Hb activation in the remaining brain regions was affected by exercise intensity, showing a high intensity significantly lower than the resting state. With the change of task difficulty, Oxy-Hb activation in the left dorsolateral prefrontal lobe (L-DLPFC) was enhanced, which was significantly greater than that in simple maps under complex map conditions. 3)In the resting state of a complex map, the blood oxygen activation level of L-DLPFC is significantly positively correlated with accuracy in the expert group. In the resting state of a simple map, the blood oxygen activation levels of L-DLPFC and R-VLPFC are both significantly positively correlated with accuracy in the novice group. Conclusion: The map-reading decision-making task in orienteering is constrained by the intensity of exercise and the difficulty of the task. Expert athletes have certain cognitive advantages, demonstrating higher task performance and lower blood oxygen activation in relevant brain regions of the prefrontal cortex. Task difficulty results in specific activation of L-DLPFC, and the brain’s blood oxygen activation pattern also changes under high intensity. This research is of great significance for optimizing athletes’training strategies, improving competitive performance, and promoting the development of cognitive decision-making in sports.

The home address is the primary site for the governance of adolescents' out-of-school physical activity, and family factors are intricate and complex. To clarify the family factors of adolescents' out-of-school physical activity, the composition of family factors affecting adolescents' out-of-school physical activity and their interrelationships were analyzed by using qualitative research methods to explore the influencing mechanisms. A model of family factors influencing adolescents' out-of-school physical activity was constructed through exploratory analysis, deduction, and refinement of key journal literature related to adolescents' out-of-school physical activity and interview data from 46 respondents using grounded theory. Family factors were found to include parental cognitive transformation, family empowerment, family sport culture, family environment, and family sociodemographic characteristics. Factors of parental cognitive transformation are the internal driving force of youth out-of-school physical activity. Factors of family empowerment factors and socio-demographic characteristics are the foundation and support of youth out-of-school physical activity.Family sport culture and family environment are repectively motivational and mediating facors of youth out-of-school physical activity, respectively. Based on this, the governance framework of family influencing factors of youth out-of-school physical activities is deduced: family empowerment, as the foundation and support, vertically integrates and horizontally coordinates other factors, and through the core effect of factors of social demographic characteristics among other factors, to form a healthy and harmonious family environment and family sport culture suitable for youth out-of-school physical activities, and through the cognitive transformation of parents to form a healthy and harmonious family environment and family sport culture. The improvement of youth out-of-school physical activities will be ultimately achieved.

In February 2025, the Beijing Municipal Education Commission issued Several Measures for Further Strengthening Physical Education in Primary and Secondary Schools in the New Era (abbreviated as the “Beijing’s Eight Measures”), which has attracted considerable attention across educational communities in Beijing and nationwide due to its innovative contents and methods, exerting an important impact on the reform and development of physical education in primary and secondary schools in Beijing. In the process of implementing the“Eight Beijing Measures”, primary and secondary schools in Beijing are encountering new challenges, while simultaneously discovering emerging opportunities. It is imperative to grasp the characteristics and significance of these measures to progressively advance into a new phase of physical education. This policy document addresses existing weaknesses in school physical education in response to the requirements of Education Power Strategy. It is one of national leading significance, combining for ward-looking and advanced concepts. Among them, the “intangible measures” that combine tangible and intangible approaches need to be further detailed through teaching reform practices. During implementation, it is necessary to balance the inherent tensions with traditional examination-oriented approaches, raise professional standards and competency expectations for physical education teachers, demand greater creativity and innovation from educators, transcend the boundaries of schools to enhance home-school-community sports integration, systematically promote reforms in school physical education, and possess continuously evolving and enriching content. This study identifies ten main reform directions outlined by the “Beijing’s Eight Measures,”namely, “increasing time allocation”, “enriching curricular content”, “engaging all students” “enhancing quality”, “pursuing precision”, “forming partnerships”, “stimulating motivation”, “optimizing resource utilization”,“improving management”, and “pioneering innovation”. Nevertheless, each of these directions faces particular practical implementation dilemmas, for which targeted countermeasures have been proposed.

The Chinese drum dance has the characteristic of cultural inheritance, functional innovation and expandable artistic expression, but its creative transformation and innovative development are confronted with practical predicaments, like conservative development concepts, lack of theoretical framework, outdated inheritance methods, stereotypical performance forms and so on. Based on the“Three-Dimensional and One-Moment” perspective of Historical Function Theory, we can construct an analytical framework for the“historical tracing - situation assessment - strategy design”of Chinese drum dance. The analysis indicates that in-depth research should be conducted on the innovative development of Chinese drum which is included in the intangible cultural heritage protection system toward fitness-oriented development. It is proposed that the creative transformation and innovative development of Chinese drum dance need to be approached from four aspects:concept, theory, method, and technology. First, in terms of conceptual innovation, making the past serve the present is the prerequisite, and promoting health is the mission. Second, in terms of theoretical innovation, Tra ditional Chinese Medicine meridian theory, brain function positioning theory, and micro-circulation theory provide new explanation for creative transformation of Chinese drum dance. Third, in terms of method innovation, we should take health promotion, balance exercises and diversity as problem orientation, take simulation, convenience, economy and standardization as transformation principles, and take scientific, ingenious, practical and reasonable as transformation thoughts. Fourth, in terms of technical innovation, it is essential to connect the patting skills with meridian and acupoints, connect fundamental steps with drum dance steps, and integrate the drumbeat rhythms with music melodies.

Adolescent health promotion is an important national strategy, which concerns the quality of future human capital and the sustainable development of society. At present, Chinese adolescents face multiple health risks and challenges, reflecting deficiencies in the current health governance model in terms of governance mechanisms, resource allocation, and behavioral guidance. Taking Social Action Theory as the analytical framework, this study focuses on the functional logic and practical mechanisms of PE-health integration in adolescent health promotion, and clarifies its key elements and their interrelationships. In view of the practical problems still facing PE-health integration, such as underdeveloped interdepartmental coordination mechanisms, an unclear health goal system, mismatches between the supply and demand of resources and services, and weak support from health culture. It is necessary to promote the transformation of PE-health integration from concept to practice, it requires improving the collaborative action system among multiple actors to enhance system integration efficiency; establishing a progressive health goal system to ensure the continuity and tiered development of goal guidance; increasing the efficiency of resource allocation and the quality of service provision to enhance supply-demand alignment; and accelerating the practical transformation of health knowledge and culture to improve adolescents’health cognition and behavioral capacity.

Insufficient physical activity among children and adolescents has become a global challenge. Many researchers have adopted the self-determination theory(SDT) as a theoretical framework to promote physical activity in this population. It is suggested that providing need-supportive strategies(e.g., autonomy support) during physical education classes, school-based extracurricular activities, and leisure time outside school can enhance children and adolescents'positive physical activity experience, with different primary supporters identified across these contexts. Furthermore, autonomy support (need support) provided by physical education teachers in class may influence children and adolescents'leisure-time physical activity through the mediation of autonomous motivation for physical activity, with the trans-contextual model (TCM) potentially explaining this cross-contextual mechanism. Recommendations include: 1) Refining need-supportive strategies across contexts based on SDT; 2) Fully considering gender differences in future research; 3) Further exploring mechanisms and key variables that promote physical activity among children and adolescents in different settings.

Objective: This study aims to investigate the effect of mental fatigue (MF) on football players’aerobic endurance performance in 30-15 intermittent fitness test (30-15 IFT). Methods:A randomized crossover controlled trial was employed. Twenty-two male amateur football players participated in a 45 min Stroop task (MF induction, experimental group) and emotionally neutral video viewing (control treatment, control group) in randomly, counter-balanced order with washout period ≥48 h. After each task, participants performed 30-15 IFT test for aerobic endurance performance assessment. The primary recorded data includes visual analogue scale for mental fatigue (VAS-MF) and motivation (VAS-MO), Brunel Mood Scale Fatigue (BRUMS-F)and Brunel Mood Scale Vigor (BRUMS-V) before and after the task, average heart rate(HRave)during the task, visual analogue scale for mental exertion (VAS-ME) after the task, as well as rating of perceived exertion(RPE), HRave, and peak heart rate (HRpeak) during the 30-15IFT test. Statistical analysis was mainly conducted using paired-sample t-tests and repeated measures ANOVA. Results:No significant between-group differences were observed in any baseline measures prior to task execution(all p> 0.05). During the task, the EG showed significantly different HRave values(p=0.031). Post-task assessments revealed significant differences in VAS-MF(p< 0.001), VAS-ME (p< 0.001), and BRUMS-F (p=0.027).The EG demonstrated significantly lower exhaustion time, exhaustion speed, and maximal oxygen uptake in the 30-15IFT compared to CG (TTE:p=0.034;VIFT:p=0.03;Vmax(O2):p=0.029). There was no significant difference in motivation level between EG and CG before 30-15IFT. The main effect of mental fatigue induction time was significant on both heart rate and RPE. Additionally, the main effect of mental fatigue intervention type significantly influenced RPE. Both EG and CG exhibited an increase in RPE as mental fatigue induction time prolonged (p< 0.001). Conclusion:MF impairs aerobic endurance performance of 30-15IFT in male amateur football players.

Addressing the challenge of quality and balanced development of physical education in primary and secondary schools and effectively improving students’physical fitness are central issues in the ongoing reform of physical education in China. Employing literature review, logical analysis, and textual analysis methods, this paper takes the policy of the“Several Measures on Further Strengthening Physical Education in Primary and Secondary Schools in the New Era”as the entry point, and systematically reviews the progress, problems, and development of physical education in Chinese primary and secondary schools in recent years. The findings indicate that China’s school physical education has seen continuous improvement in top-level design, strengthened school conditions and teaching staff, ongoing curriculum reform and sports activities, steady enhancement of students’physical fitness, and increasing integration of sports and education as well as improved home-school-community collaboration mechanisms. However, prominent challenges remain, such as regional disparities, inadequate implementation of the“health first” concept, insufficient guarantee of physical activity time, lack of diversification in teaching content, weak enforcement and insufficient traction in school sports evaluation, and limited effectiveness of home-school-community collaboration. Moving forward, it is recommended to fully implement student physical fitness enhancement programs, gradually increase physical activity time, improve the quality and effectiveness of physical activity, widely organize sports events, enhance physical fitness monitoring and evaluation, and strengthen the supportive resource for physical education in schools.

Sports consumption is an important engine for expanding domestic demand and smoothing the domestic circulation of the national economy. This paper analyzes China's sports consumption pilot policy, selects panel data from 290 prefecture-level cities in China from 2014 to 2022, and uses the difference-in-differences model to analyze the impact of Chins's sports consumption pilot policy on urban socio-economic resilience as well as the transmission mechanism. From the research results, it was found that: 1) the sports consumption pilot policy has enhanced the urban social and economic resilience, and this conclusion still holds true after parallel trend testing, placebo testing, and PSM testing; 2) The mechanism test results show that the strengthening of urban social and economic resilience through the national sports consumption pilot policy mainly relies on the optimization effect of industrial structure and employment effect; 3) The heterogeneity test results indicate that different cities exhibit diverse characteristics when implementing the sports consumption pilot policy, and the effect of pilot policys on improving urban social andeconomic resilience is more pronounced in large-scale cities and eastern regions. It is recommended to continue implementing the pilot policy for sports consumption cities, fully leveraging the mediating effects of industrial structure optimization and employment effects, and paying attention to the regional heterogeneity of the sports consumption pilot policy in enhancing urban social andeconomic resilience.
